- The letting of the cottage is on the basis that it will be used solely for holiday accommodation by the hirers.
- Bookings will be confirmed upon the clearance of the deposit cheque £50.
- The balance of payment is due on arrival.
- In no circumstance must the party size as stated on the booking form be exceeded without the owners’ express written, permission. The, owners reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed and also reserve the right (and at their sole discretion) to refuse or revoke any party who In the opinion of the owners may be unsuitable.
- The use of the accommodation and annuities is entirely at the hirer’s risk and the owners accept no responsibility for Injury, loss or damage to any vehicles belonging to the hirer’s party.
- The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take good care of It. All amenities, utensils, carpets and furnishings must be left clean and the property must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period. All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the hirer and their cost shall be refundable on demand (although the owners would not normally charge for small breakages).
- The owners accept no responsibility for the hirers being unable to take up their booking by reason of sickness, adverse weather conditions, or other cause. The hirers are advised to cover these risks with appropriate holiday Insurance.
- We welcome, by arrangement, a well-behaved dog which is not allowed on beds or furniture and which must not be left unattended in the cottage. Because the Peak District is a sheep farming area, your dog must obviously be kept under close control.
- Out of consideration to other visitors who will subsequently occupy the cottage, we ask guests not to smoke inside.
- Cancellation charges, apply:
- More than 42 days notice – deposit only.
- 29-42 days – 50% holiday cost.
- 15-28 days – 75% holiday cost.
- 1-14 days – 90% holiday cost.
- 0 days – total holiday cost.
- Please note that arrival must be no earlier than 2pm on the day of arrival and that the property must be vacated no later than 11am on the day of departure without the owners consent.
